Q:	What is the VAT tax in the Baltic Region?
A:	The standard rate of VAT in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia is 18%. There are reduced rates of 0% and 5% for selected goods and services.
Q:	Accommodation and Living availability
A:	All the major cities are well provided with international class hotels of varying stars at comparable Western Europe rates. Economy hotels and B&B’s are also plentiful. Short term apartment rentals are reasonable and easily arranged. Cuisine is of a very high standard and the range of restaurants is comparable to other European cities.
Q:	Transportation
A:	Vilnius, Riga and Tallin, are serviced worldwide by international carriers such as Aeroflot, British Airways, Czech Airlines, Finnair, KLM, Lufthansa, as well as the national carriers.

A:	All three Baltic States are signatories to the European Convention on Cinematic Co-Production.   Latvia and Estonia both have an official co-production treaty with Canada and Lithuania’s is currently being negotiated.
